I grew up on monthly comic books. I still draw inspiration from regular monthly installments of my favorite titles, whether they be superheroes, sword and sorcery, contemporary fantasy, or classic adventure. Inspired by their schedule and the classic pulp magazines of the 30s and 40s, PARAGON is a new regular zine forged to bring my writing to a wider audience in a fun and different format.

Each issue will feature at least forty-eight pages of short stories, serials, and select non-fiction covering comics, books, and more. We publish a new issue about every five to six weeks, as the furious release of new work by Nicholas Ahlhelm finds a new regular home.
